Celebrated in Varanasi - the steps of all the ghats on the riverfront of the Ganges River, are lit with more than a million earthen lamps in honour of Ganga, the Ganges, and its presiding goddess. Our hotel is based right on the banks of the Ganges, then we move on to some of India's classical and beautiful sites, including the beautiful pink city of Jaipur and romantic Agra.
