Journeys Worldwide has been operating tours to Southern Africa for more than 10 years, and this 22-Day Tour covers all major attractions in South Africa. It also incorporates the small African Kingdom of Swaziland and visits to Pilanesberg National Park, Hluhluwe National Park and Kruger National Park, all of which contain the famous "Big Five". New for 2008 is Addo Elephant Reserve and a guided cruise on the St Lucia Estuary.
A full day in Hluhluwe and two visits to Kruger National Park are some of
the highlights. Transportation is by mini buses, which are ideal for
sightseeing and game viewing.
Tour Leaders include Managing Director, Dick Cijffers, locally based former New Zealander
Sid McKinley, and Kimberley based Jaco Powell. Jaco has won numerous photographic awards and is a BSc graduate.
Most tour members choose to extend the tour by incorporating Botswana
and Victoria Falls for a 6-Day Package, featuring Chobe Safari Lodge in
Botswana and The Kingdom Hotel at Victoria Falls. The Package includes all transfers,
game drives, entrance fees, and return airfares from Johannesburg.
