After a very successful 2005, we are pleased to publish our biannual Journeys Worldwide Newsletter.
Former Manager of Seniors Holiday Travel, Jennifer Corey, has rejoined our established team, and we are pleased to
welcome Jennifer back to the fold. Jennifer's vast experience in international travel is supplemented by her
"Cruise Specialist" qualification, and she would be happy to receive your cruise enquiries.
Both Clifton and Bernadette turned the "Big Four O" during the past year, and Bernadette travelled extensively throughout
Canada and Alaska during 2005. She will be travelling on the Silk Road in August, and this will enhance her already extensive
Trans-Siberian Railway experience.
Our new 2006-07 Southern Africa Explorer program is selling exceptionally well. We have
only three vacancies on our August departure, six on our September departure and three on our October departure,
which is being excorted personally by our Managing Director, Dick Cijffers.
Our new India Explorer brochure is hot off the press. Apart from our group departures,
we also published a number of independent itineraries as well as an interesting Kashmir houseboat stay.
Our new Borneo Explorer brochure offers the very best of Sabah with extensions to Sarawak
and Brunei. Apart from regular group departures, this program is also available to independent travellers.
Bookings for any of the above tours which are deposited prior to 30 April will receive
a special of discount of $ 100.00 per person, and if you have travelled previously on any of
our Journeys Worldwide tours we are now offer 5% second tour discount.
We have been appointed general sales agents for Amadablam Tours, a Kathmandu-based tour and trek operator.
They arrange a number of Himalayan treks from a gentle "Royal Trek", named after Prince Charles, to high-
altitude treks including Everest Base Camp. Amadablam Tours also specialise in exotic destinations such as
Sikkim, Bhutan and Tibet, and their new brochure will be available in April.
We will once again be participating in the Brisbane Travel & Holiday Expo for three days from Friday 07 April. We have a small
number of complimentary entrance tickets available, and please phone Lillie if you would like one.
During April we are offering 20% discount on all travel insurance policies issued through QBE, AussieTravelCover, Toursafe
