specified in the itinerary. Tour members should note that Libya has only
recently reopened its doors to tourists, and the hotels used are amongst the
best available. It should be noted however that hotel standards are not always
commensurate with those in North America, Australia and New Zealand.

All entrance fees to
historical sites and places of interest as specified in the itinerary.

Transportation is in
45-seater coaches, which are airconditioned. Bottled mineral water is supplied
on the coaches in Libya.

International economy
airfares from Auckland, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.

Porterage of one
suitcase throughout the tour.
·
Tour members
originating from countries other than Australia should apply the land-only
price and arrange their own international airfares.

All tour members will be required to contribute USD$30.00 to a tips kitty. This
will be added to the invoices of passengers originating in Australia and New
Zealand. Tour members originating elsewhere will be required to pay this in cash
upon arrival in Libya.

HOW TO BOOK
In order to make a
booking you are required to complete the Booking Form and pay an initial
deposit of AUD $300.00 per person. This deposit is refundable up to 31 December
2004 after which it becomes non-refundable.
An interim payment of AUD
$700.00 per person is required by 31 March 2005, and the balance is due no
later than Friday, 16 December 2005.

PRICES, CURRENCY, EXCHANGE RATES & CREDIT CARDS
All prices quoted in this
brochure are in Australian dollars and are based upon prevailing exchange rates
as at 1 July 2004. The tour price will be subject to change in the event of a
currency devaluation or an increase in airfares.
The tour deposit can be
paid by credit card. However, the balance must be paid by cheque, direct
deposit or cash. Payment by credit card will attract a small surcharge.
CHILD POLICY
Children 12 years and
older are welcome to join the tour but must be accompanied by a parent or
guardian. Triple-share rooms are not available and there is no child discount.
VISAS & PASSPORTS
Most nationalities
require visas for both Libya and Egypt, and a visa for Dubai is issued upon
arrival at the airport. It is the responsibility of the individual tour member
to ensure that they obtain their own visas. In the case of Australian and New
Zealand residents, Journeys Worldwide can arrange visas at an additional fee of
$30.00 per visa per person over and above the visa fee. Tour members must
ensure that their passports are valid for at least six months upon their return
to their country of origin. In order to comply with airline security
regulations, Journeys Worldwide requires a photocopy of each tour member’s
passport prior to departure.
DOCUMENTATION
All tour members will be
supplied with a comprehensive pre-departure information dossier, which will
include topics such as health, food & drink, clothing, climatic conditions,
currency and other matters of interest.
