Today you travel by canoe along the Beni River past the spectacular Bala Canyon. Your lodge is situated on the shores of a lagoon. The surrounding area is home to monkeys, turtles and more than 340 species of birds, such as parabas, guagmayos, toucans and humming birds.
Chalalan Lodge (Full Board)After breakfast you will enjoy a walk through the jungle to learn about the flora of the area. Guides will share with you their knowledge of medicinal plants and how some are used by artisans, At night you may observe the nocturnal life of the jungle and spot crocodiles in the lagoon.

After breakfast you sail down the Beni River back to Rurrenabaque where you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to La Paz. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Presidente Hotel (Breakfast)
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Santiago, where you arrive mid-afternoon. In the evening you will connect to your flight to Auckland.

Today you will cross the International Date Line.
Arrive Auckland early morning. Queensland tour members will connect directly to Brisbane while other tour members continue to Sydney and their respective destinations.
